Audi USA Executive Interview Production
Executive interview production for Audi USA in downtown San Francisco, using a teleprompter-equipped primary camera, a Ronin-mounted second angle, professional sound and client monitoring.
Audi USA Executive Interview Production
Capitola Media filmed an Audi USA marketing executive in downtown San Francisco, building the production around a polished two-camera interview setup that could support both prepared messaging and a more dynamic editorial style. The primary camera was locked for a clean, controlled interview frame and equipped with a teleprompter, while a second camera on a DJI Ronin gimbal provided a complementary moving angle.
Two Cameras With Different Jobs
The two-camera approach was designed deliberately rather than simply adding coverage. The primary camera carried the core executive message with a stable eyeline and teleprompter support. The Ronin-mounted second camera created subtle movement and visual separation, giving the edit an alternate perspective without disrupting the continuity of the interview.
That combination gave the editorial team more flexibility when tightening responses, changing emphasis or moving between longer sections of prepared remarks. Instead of relying on cutaways to conceal edits, the second angle could preserve the speaker’s presence while keeping the finished piece visually active.
Professional Audio and Client Monitoring
Sound was treated as a primary production element. Corporate interviews depend on clean, consistent dialogue, so microphone placement, room tone, gain structure and monitoring were established before the executive stepped in front of camera. The production team monitored the interview in real time to catch technical issues before they reached post.
Client monitoring also allowed Audi’s team to review framing, performance and messaging during the shoot. That is especially useful on executive work, where small wording changes or delivery adjustments may need to be addressed immediately rather than discovered after the subject has left.
Teleprompter and Script Supervision
The teleprompter supported prepared messaging while allowing the executive to maintain a direct, confident delivery. Script supervision helped keep the approved language organized across takes and ensured that revisions, pickups and alternate versions could be tracked accurately.
For executive communications, that preparation can save significant time in post. A cleanly managed script, consistent eyeline and organized take structure make it easier to assemble a concise final piece while preserving a natural performance.
Production in Downtown San Francisco
Filming in downtown San Francisco required a compact, efficient setup that could operate within a professional business environment. Camera, lighting, sound, teleprompter and monitoring all had to fit the available space without compromising the finished look or slowing the executive’s schedule.
The production included hair and makeup, styling, producers, production assistants and the technical crew needed to keep the interview moving smoothly. The result was a controlled corporate shoot with enough visual range for the edit and a production footprint appropriate to an executive setting.
Executive Interview Production for a Global Brand
The Audi USA project is a useful example of how interview production can combine precision with flexibility. The primary camera, Ronin second angle, professional audio, teleprompter, monitoring and script supervision were all serving the same objective: make it easy for the executive to communicate clearly while giving the edit enough options to remain polished and engaging.
