HP Helion Cloud Corporate Video

Capitola Media produced a series of corporate informational videos for HP promoting Helion, the company’s enterprise cloud initiative. The production was filmed in their offices in Cupertino, California and built around a switched three-camera interview setup with an off-camera teleprompter, giving HP’s internal speakers a consistent way to explain a technically complex cloud offering.

Explaining an Enterprise Cloud Platform

HP Helion was developed as an enterprise cloud portfolio built around open-source technologies including OpenStack. HPE documentation describes Helion CloudSystem Enterprise as cloud-management software for infrastructure, platform and application services, including self-service lifecycle management, multiple OpenStack pools and support for hybrid environments.

For a product demo or enterprise technology video, that kind of breadth creates a communication challenge: the audience needs a clear explanation of what the platform enables without being overwhelmed by architecture or feature detail. The video series focused on presenting Helion’s capabilities in a structured, business-facing format.

Three-Camera Corporate Interview Production

The shoot used a three-camera setup to give the edit a consistent mix of angles while keeping the presenters focused on delivery. An off-camera teleprompter supported accurate wording across multiple takes, especially important for technical messaging where terminology and phrasing need to remain precise. We also incorporated the on-screen content being discussed, effectively giving us a fourth source for the edit and allowing us to cut between presenters, alternate camera angles, and the material itself.

The technical setup was designed to support clarity, confidence and editorial flexibility rather than become the subject itself.

Technology Communication With Brand Precision

HP’s goals for the series were straightforward: explain Helion’s cloud capabilities, stay aligned with HP’s branding and messaging, and give executive speakers a polished on-camera presence. That required coordination between the message, camera coverage, teleprompter, lighting, sound and post-production.

The finished project is a useful example of how enterprise technology communication can combine product explanation with executive presentation. Instead of treating those as separate formats, the video series uses both to make a large cloud initiative easier to understand.
