AI-Assisted Video Production
AI-assisted visual development and selected generative production methods, combined with filmmaking, postproduction and human creative direction.

AI-Assisted Video Production With Human Creative Direction
Capitola Media uses AI-assisted methods where they serve a defined visual or production purpose. These methods may support concept exploration, selected generative elements, transcription, cleanup or postproduction. The finished work still needs a coherent story, editorial judgment and quality control.
A method, not an industry category
Using AI to make a video is different from making a video about an AI product. Our AI and emerging technology work addresses product and customer communication; this service focuses on how AI-assisted methods can contribute to production.
Video for AI Products and Companies
Producing a film about an AI product does not require generative imagery. Our three live-action Deloitte NavigAite Commercial I, Commercial II and Commercial III spots use workplace situations, actors and practical business outcomes to make an AI-enabled legal platform understandable. For broader product and company communications, see our AI and emerging technology work.
Where AI-assisted methods can help
Visual exploration can help a team compare environments, compositions and stylistic directions before committing to a production approach. Selected generated elements can also be combined with live action, photography, animation or compositing.
A useful plan identifies the role of each element and how it will be reviewed. A strong individual image is not enough: a sequence must maintain continuity, usable detail, brand consistency and a clear relationship to the story.
Choose conventional production when accuracy depends on it
A customer testimonial should preserve the actual person and experience. A product demonstration may need to show a real interface and its behavior. Precise packaging, approved claims and documentary evidence can favor conventional capture or controlled animation. We can combine motion graphics, filming and selected AI-assisted work when that combination fits the assignment. The method follows the communication goal.
Test the demanding part before committing
We define a representative trial around the element that will be hardest to approve. That might be a visual transition, a designed environment or a sequence that must remain consistent across several shots. The test has a clear purpose and review point, so the client can judge whether the method contributes to the film before it becomes a dependency for the entire production.
Review considers how the element works in sequence, not only as an attractive frame. We assess the requested detail, continuity, relationship to adjacent footage and ability to accommodate changes. If a result needs extensive rebuilding, the comparison should include that finishing work alongside the time spent generating the initial material.
Integrate selected elements into a controlled workflow
AI-assisted material may become a reference for production, a component in a composite or part of the final imagery. We identify that role in the creative plan and keep the surrounding edit, graphics and sound aligned with the approved story. A hybrid approach can reserve conventional filming or designed animation for the elements that need precise, repeatable control.
Client reviews should distinguish exploratory material from work proposed for release. A concept image can help discuss a direction without being ready to represent a real product, person or place. Clear labeling and agreed approval stages help the team make those decisions while preserving the flexibility to choose another production method.
Scope the complete route to an approved film
The estimate considers exploration, revisions, compositing, editing and finishing together. We also define the alternative if a proposed technique does not meet the required standard. Share the visual references, intended uses, approved source assets and elements that must remain exact so the production plan reflects the actual communication and quality requirements.
Define the review process
Agree on permitted materials, confidential information, likenesses, brand assets and intended uses before work begins. Product claims and final materials follow the client’s designated approval process.
Bring the concept, references, required outputs and any restrictions to the initial discussion. We can then define which parts of the project should use established production methods and which are appropriate for AI-assisted exploration.
