Video Production for Education and Learning Brands
Video production for education brands and learning organizations, including educational media, child-focused content, live action, animation and product launches.

Education Video Production
Capitola Media produces video for education brands, learning organizations, family-focused educational media and companies creating content for students, parents and teachers. Education projects often need to do two jobs at once: hold attention and communicate something useful. The production approach depends on the audience, age group, subject and where the finished content will be seen.
Lingokids: Live Action Blended With Animation
Capitola Media produced a 10-video series for Lingokids, a children’s learning and media brand whose content combines play, educational activities, songs, games and video for young children. Our productions blended live action with animation, bringing real children and practical activities into the same visual world as Lingokids’ animated characters.
The series included child actors and cooking-focused shoots. Working with young performers required careful scheduling, direction and pacing, while the live-action photography also had to be composed with the later animation in mind. Character placement, eyelines, framing and timing were planned so animated elements could interact naturally with the photographed material.

StudyAce: Game-Based Learning and Product Launch
StudyAce is another education project in the portfolio. The MightyPlay product connected course content with customizable learning games, flashcards and practice tests. Capitola Media worked from concept through live-action production and post-production to introduce the learning experience in a clear, student-centered way.
StudyAce also demonstrates the overlap between Education and EdTech. The assignment involved a digital product, but the communication challenge was fundamentally educational: show how students could engage with course material through a different form of practice. We therefore reference StudyAce in both the Education and EdTech industry areas.
Santa Clara University: Markkula Center for Applied Ethics
Capitola Media also produced video work for Santa Clara University’s Markkula Center for Applied Ethics. The Center was launched in 1986 with a seed grant from Linda and A.C. “Mike” Markkula Jr. and the leadership of SCU professor Manuel Velasquez, creating a university-wide focal point for applied ethics research and education.
The Center marked its 30th anniversary during the 2016–17 academic year. This work broadens the Education portfolio beyond learning products and children’s content to include university programs, institutional storytelling and mission-driven academic organizations.
Education Content for Different Audiences
Education video can be made for children, parents, teachers, schools, universities or adult learners. A family-facing series such as Lingokids needs a different rhythm and visual language from a software demonstration or institutional message. Child performers, practical activities, animation, music and graphics can all support learning when they are planned around a clear educational objective.
Our related work also includes BYJU’S and Disney, where education, entertainment and consumer marketing intersect. These projects show why Education should remain distinct from EdTech even though some assignments belong in both categories.
Live Action, Animation and Practical Activities
Hybrid productions benefit from planning animation before the shoot rather than treating it as a decorative layer added later. Storyboards and visual references can establish where characters or graphics will appear, how performers should react, and which actions need clean space in the frame. In cooking content, the production also has to manage ingredients, continuity, food preparation, safety and repeated actions while keeping the experience natural for the child performers.
Our motion graphics and animation and brand video production services can be combined with live-action filming when educational content needs both real-world activity and a designed visual system.
