Full Service Event Production
Event production for conferences, keynotes, hybrid and virtual events, live streaming, multi-camera capture, live switching, Zoom, and post-event content.

Production for the Live Program and the Content Afterward
Capitola Media provides event production for conferences, company meetings, keynotes, panels, product launches and virtual or hybrid programs. We plan the camera coverage, presentation content, sound coordination and recording around both the people attending and the audiences who will see the material later.
The scope may include multi-camera recording, live switching, image magnification, streaming support, remote speakers, graphics, playback, interviews and postproduction. We establish responsibilities with the client, venue and other technical providers before the event.
Different Scales of Live Event Coverage
For the Twitter and IBM partnership announcement at Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters, our production combined executive interviews with a compact hybrid-event setup, including switching, monitoring and remote participation. For Liquid AI, the assignment centered on still photography and b-roll for a hackathon and fireside chat. These projects show how event coverage can range from a connected live production to a focused photo-and-video documentation assignment.
Start With the Show and Delivery Plan
Advance planning identifies the program, rooms, speakers, rehearsals, available signals, camera positions, connectivity and access windows. A single keynote requires a different plan from simultaneous sessions, a live demonstration or a program with remote contributors.
We also define the final content before cameras arrive. Complete recordings, highlights, executive interviews, captioned versions and social clips require different coverage. A separate interview area and participant schedule can help capture additional material without distracting the stage crew from the live program.
Multi-Camera Coverage, Switching and Screens
Camera positions are selected for useful coverage of speakers, panels, presentations, demonstrations and audience activity. A primary speaker angle, a wider view and direct presentation capture may form one setup; a panel may need separate views of several people.
Live switching combines cameras, slides, graphics, playback and remote contributions into a program for screens, recording or streaming. Image magnification helps the in-room audience see speakers and details. We coordinate coverage with staging, lighting, audio and screen requirements, including sightlines and rehearsal.
Isolated camera recordings can be included when the postproduction plan needs alternatives to the live switch. Recording formats, signal availability and backup arrangements are specified for the assignment rather than assumed.
Virtual and Hybrid Events
Capitola Media supports programs on Zoom, Zoom Webinars, Zoom Events, Microsoft Teams and other online platforms. Production can include speaker preparation, technical rehearsals, graphics, playback, switching, recording and postproduction.
Hybrid contributions need clear audio in both directions, suitable return feeds and a coordinated presentation workflow. We establish how remote speakers join, what they can see and hear, and how their material enters the show. Connectivity, security, audience access and platform responsibilities are confirmed with the relevant venue and client teams. Third-party networks and platforms remain dependencies, so contingency planning is part of preparation.
Event Films and Recorded Conversations
Prerecorded content can introduce a meeting, establish a theme or connect the live program with a larger corporate story. Our Deloitte 5G service video delivered at 16K demonstrates why large-format screen content must be designed around its final canvas.
The Sitecore founder fireside chat illustrates a complementary recording format: a wide two-shot and individual angles preserve a conversation and provide options for the edit. These are examples of content and interview components that can be planned alongside a broader event.
Our corporate video production work can also supply speaker introductions, leadership messages, product films and customer stories. Playback specifications, duration, cueing and transition into the live presentation are agreed before finishing.
Audio, Presentations and Rehearsal
We confirm which audio and presentation signals are available, how they will be shared and which recordings are needed. Speakers, audience questions, remote contributors and playback may require different routing. Sound checks and rehearsals help identify problems before the audience arrives.
Presentation files are reviewed for the intended display and recording approach. Names, titles, event graphics and sponsor materials need approval. Venue access, loading, power, rigging, labor arrangements and technical contacts are addressed with the parties responsible for those services.
Post-Event Editing and Deliverables
Postproduction can turn recordings into complete sessions, highlights, topic-based excerpts and campaign assets. The strongest recap reflects the event's purpose, not only its atmosphere. Speaker moments, interviews, demonstrations and audience activity can work together where they support that story.
Social video versions may require captions, new openings and different framing. Final files, deadlines and review stages are established in advance. Clients approve the material selected for distribution, including claims, permissions, confidential content and third-party assets.
Discuss Your Event
The scope depends on the event length, rooms, cameras, signal requirements, remote participation, rehearsal and final deliverables. Discuss your event with Capitola Media and share the date, venue or platform, program, audience and recording priorities. We support video production in San Francisco and the Bay Area, New York City, Los Angeles and other locations nationwide.
